Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team who has a general interest in the recreational Marine sector.

Main dealers for Yamaha and Mercury outboard motors retailing and servicing multi brand products as well as small tenders and polyethylene Whaly boats.

Brief Job Details:

  • Adaptable to all brands of outboard motors
  • Carry out repairs, servicing and installations as directed in a professional, efficient and accurate manner, including double checking of work carried out
  • As a member of a small team environment you will need to work in a highly cooperative fashion.
  • Maintenance of the workshop and tools to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Carry out Engine Electronic Diagnostics
  • Assisting Customers with purchases of spares and products, including new engines and tenders
  • General Maintenance

  • A passion for boats and the marine industry
  • A strong work ethic and honesty
  • A willingness to learn
  • Show initiative in producing high quality work demonstrating high attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, well presented and punctual
  • A long term commitment to success in this field
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Be able to work Saturday mornings as necessary
  • Knowledge of electrical systems an advantage
  • Experience preferred
  • Flexibility
